Letter portrait, 100%. On a phone or tablet: open the PDF, tap Share, then Print. On Android, Print may sit in the three-dot menu instead.
How do you print it at the right size?
Print at 100% or actual size, portrait, one page per sheet. Every design fits both Letter and A4, so plain paper is fine; use thicker paper for the tags if your printer takes it.
Which design should you print?
The list is easiest to read at a glance, and the black line sheets save ink.
A letter has room for a message to Santa or Father Christmas.
Small children can draw their wishes in the six big boxes.
What should a child write on it?
Three to five wishes is plenty, and a wish is not a promise. Add just enough detail for a grandparent: a book about sea life is clearer than a book.
Where does the letter go?
Keep it by the tree, or post it with a stamp and a return address on the envelope:
- United States, USPS Operation Santa: Santa Claus, 123 Elf Road, North Pole, 88888.
- United Kingdom, Royal Mail: Santa/Father Christmas, Santa's Grotto, Reindeerland, XM4 5HQ.
- Canada, Canada Post: Santa Claus, North Pole, H0H 0H0, Canada.
- Australia, Australia Post: Santa, North Pole 9999.
How can grandparents use the finished list?
Share a photo of it with the family, and keep surprises on an adult copy. The large lettering sheet is made for a grandparent and child to fill in together.
